It was my first time and I was both excited and nervous. The team there helped me check in and with the safety action briefing, before waiting for my turn. I was the 36th individual diving that day. My instructor ensured I was calm and mentally prepared to receive the instructions to be on the same page. I could see an elderly person and another first timer in my batch. We were grouped in batches of 6 I believe. Then it was time to get escorted to the plane, just after getting the harness attached, and then taking the plunge! Woo! The videos and pics were mailed later!

The 20-minute gyrocopter flight from the Palm Dropzone was nothing short of incredible. From the moment takeoff began, the views were absolutely breathtaking — seeing the Palm, the Dubai Marina, and the coastline from that low altitude felt surreal. The aircraft felt safe and stable, and the pilot was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, pointing out landmarks and making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
