The views are spectacular — you see Dubai’s skyline, desert and the Arabian Gulf stretching out in all directions. The telescopes help zoom in on landmarks below, and sunset visits give gorgeous photos. • The ride up in the elevator is fast and fun — one of the world’s quickest elevators. • Once on the observation decks (124 & 125), you get panoramic 360° views indoors and outdoors, with great photo spots.

I decided to do the aquarium first as my slot for Burj Khalifa was at 5:00 PM. The aquarium was amazing with a lot of fishes, jellyfish, seahorses, crocodiles, penguins, otters, and other creatures. The best part was that I got to see the staff there feeding both crocodiles while one of the guides gave us information about the crocodiles as well as their feeding techniques. The aquarium experience was amazing, and a person can easily spend about 2 hours and more exploring everything included in the ticket. There were tickets available for snorkeling, penguin encounter, etc. too! Though I didn't do any of it, it looks absolutely fun! Coming on to Burj Khalifa, the process is decently paced from getting your tickets to heading inside where the lift to the upper floor is. Though, the queue is pretty long so having a fast track ticket will cut down half the waiting time. The view from the top was absolutely beautiful! We got to see the transition from sunset-ish sky to night lights. The fountain show from the top view was fantastic! The only thing is that there's always a big queue for the Burj Khalifa, and even with a fast track ticket, it'll cut down only half the waiting time in the regular ticket. While I was trying to shop, I also noticed that they used very dim lights, and as a person with partial night blindness, it was difficult for me to navigate the souvenir aisles in the dim light. The said souvenirs were decently priced with USD and Euro currency conversion mentioned on some of the price board. The overall experience was nice. And buying online ticket surely saved a good amount of money.

First of all it was less expensive than at the counter and dint have to wait, the entry went silky smooth. It's a must visit place for tourists especially travelling with family and kids. Beautiful setting of flowers from round the world. The emirates plane, teddy and peacock are artistic masterpieces. Enough refreshment areas and toilets.

Our Driver and guide Yasir was awesome. He is a guy to whom you can interact and he is very friendly. He is an amazing photographer who knows how to take family pics.Car was clean and safari was good. Only let down point was camp food and performances. May be as it was not my first time to camp and compared to previous camp experiences this one was not good at all.

The Captain and Vehicle was excellent .Mr.Bakhtmin is a very experienced driver , extremely polite and helpful . We chose the pickup from Hotel option . We did a good amount of dune ride in Red Sand Desert , much better and authentic than other locations . Whole family enjoyed the ride and the pictures taken in between the dunes . Later we were transferred to the camp . The camp was very neat and beautiful, had the authentic Bedouin touch . Camel rides and Local Dress up with photo session was good . Ladies enjoyed the henna . We didn't try the Sheesha . Later a good buffet with good soft drinks options were provided . There were three dance shows : Belly , Tanura and Fire dance . All were entertaining. We left as soon as the shows ended . Highly recommended and good deal on headout . Worth the experience - must try !

The Dubai desert safari was an unforgettable experience! The evening started with an exciting dune bashing ride, and the driver was both skilled and friendly. Watching the sunset over the golden dunes was absolutely breathtaking. The camp was well organized, with delicious food, traditional performances, and great hospitality. It’s a perfect mix of adventure and culture—definitely a must-do when visiting Dubai!

I had an amazing experience on the Dubai safari trip! The evening show during dinner was truly captivating, but my absolute favorite part was the dune bashing — especially thanks to our incredible driver, Yasir. He made the ride exciting, safe, and unforgettable. Overall, it was a fantastic adventure from start to finish. I highly recommend booking this experience through the Headout app

Top things to do in Dubai

A trip to Dubai is complete with an authentic, Bedouin-style desert exploration. And what better way to do that than on the back of a camel, the ship of the desert? Camel riding is a sensory immersion into ancient traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and a chance to trade cityscapes for wind-whipped dunes.

Things to know before Camel Riding

Camel Riding in Dubai
  • Duration:
Camel riding is a part of all Dubai desert safari packages and lasts a minute or two.
  • Seating:
Camels usually accommodate two riders per seat, sitting sideways with a handler leading the animal.
  • Came riding ticket options:
Unlike other activities, Camel riding is short and part of most packages to connect visitors to the desert from the get-go. Although it is a short activity, there are different activities visitors can enjoy with these "ships" of the desert.
Classic Camel Ride: This 1-2 minute journey is your standard desert safari inclusion. Relax, soak in the scenery, and feel the rhythm of the dunes beneath you.
Camel Farm Visit: Go beyond the ride and visit a working camel farm! Learn about these fascinating creatures, see their routines, and even feed them. Add this as a pre-booked extra to your safari.
Double the Dunes?: Craving more camel time? Many safaris allow a second ride, often with a break in between. Check your package or ask about add-on options!
Standalone Camel Rides: Not planning a complete safari? You can book your camel ride session at the location with us!

What to expect while Camel riding

Picture a gentle sway, not a rollercoaster ride. You'll sit comfortably on a padded saddle, holding onto straps as your camel gracefully navigates the desert. It's serene, almost meditative, like rocking in a cradle of sand.
